MAY 20-22, 2025 | Training activity by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and BETA CAE Systems

On May 20th-22nd, the Doctoral Candidates (DCs) of the GECKO_EU Doctoral Network gathered in Thessaloniki, Greece, for a dynamic training activity that combined technical expertise and professional development.

The training provided invaluable industrial insights into IGA (Isogeometric Analysis), offering the DCs a unique perspective from leading industry experts. Additionally, the DCs received hands-on training with the ANSA pre-processor.

The DCs Nicolò Antonelli, Lucas Venta Viñuela, Maram Alkhlaifat and Doğuhan Nuri Kılıçarslan completed their secondments at BETA CAE Systems, where they focused even more on IGA with ANSA pre-processing.

The training also covered essential soft skills, equipping the candidates with well-rounded competencies for both academic and professional success.
