GECKO Mini-Symposium at the ISMA 2024 Conference

SEMNI-GIMC Workshop: A Collaborative Meeting Between the Spanish and Italian Societies

Online Industry Meeting (IDIADA, Toyota, ANSA, LS-DYNA)

As part of GECKO’s commitment to aligning research with industry needs, GECKO assits to the periodic online industry meetings organized by IDIADA, bringing together key business partners, including Toyota, ANSA, and LS-DYNA. These meetings serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, industry feedback, and discussion of real-world applications of GECKO’s developments.

By fostering collaboration between academia and industry, these meetings ensure that GECKO’s methodologies and computational tools are relevant, scalable, and applicable to automotive, engineering, and manufacturing sectors. The engagement with industry leaders strengthens the project’s impact and potential for real-world implementation.

ECCOMAS 2024 CONFERENCE

The ECCOMAS 2024 Conference in Lisbon provided an international platform to disseminate GECKO research on computational mechanics and CAD-CAE integration. The presented work focused on the integration of the Shifted Boundary Method (SBM) with Isogeometric Analysis (IGA), addressing robust embedded discretizations for complex geometries.
